  Art Archive Symposium: The Current Situation of Company Archives"

  The speakers reported on the status quo and challenges of corporate archival initiatives from their own perspectives, and Shigeru Yokota, Chief Director of JCRI joined them for a panel discussion. As actual examples of corporate archives, the speakers discussed the origins and history of the collections. They also introduced methods of classifying materials that are unique to each archive. The benefits of archiving the collection were discussed, including the fact that it not only appealed to the outside but also raised employee awareness. They also reported and exchanged opinions on future issues, such as how to utilize the collection.
